They should try the Prius GT. It has 143hp combined (They fiddled with the ICE), removed the rear seats, added a rollcage, and maybe a set of new tyres. I wanna try THAT Prius.
Not only will the Prius "stock" do 100 mph easily, it will get up to 100 mph surprisingly quickly and I'm quite impressed with the cars stability at that speed. I've now done it twice, and one of those times it was for about 18 miles straight.
didnt road and track (or someone) determine that after the battery is depleted that the Prius gets like 19 mpg at top speed??
