Luckily @Rob43 has been helping me through a vast series on PM's, he's been a great help in figuring all of this out... I also read through his wheel sticky above which really helped me understand some basic stuff. Otherwise I would have purchased a heavy rim with wrong hardware and who knows what else....Thanks!
Woops! Should have been p/n: 42611-47360 #2 here: Wheels for 2012 Toyota Prius Plug-In | McGeorge Toyota Parts
Thanks for the shout out ! Those Costco / Velox RT7M 15x6.5" wheels look nice & should serve you well. Rob43
If you get those alloy wheels, your next mod should be locking lug nuts. EDIT: Words are hard (like math); auto-correct is stupidly harder. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
God I hate locking lug nuts. You guys really think someone would jack a set of 15's off a prius?? My dealer installed locking lugs on my stock wheels...I emailed him to mail me 4 original lug nuts.lol
Yep, especially when they get stuck after few years. P.S. No offense to OP, but calling Prius a "beast" is , how do I put it mildly,... childish?
I got ceramic clear tint front windshield. And regular tints all around Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
The mods continue with a purchase made at Costco and the Velox FK Ethos Wheels that they sell. I absolutely love the look on these! I went with their RT-7M style....which is a full face mesh design that employs a complex cnc process that accurately creates highlights through machining around all available open sections of the design. In addition, each wheel is cnc engraved with the Falken logo. By focusing on details, the RT-7M requires one hour of CNC machining to achieve its stunning finish. Gloss Black/ Reverse CNC machining. Looks real good ! When you get a break in the weather, wash your Prime & take several daytime pics for everyone to see. Rob43
@Rob43 day pics! I personally LOVE how these 15” wheels do not make the wheels look as tiny as they really are. As compared to the stock wheels/hubcaps these wheels look a bit bigger (to me at least), since they are darker wheels, sportier and they make the Prius Prime stand out in a way that the average non-Prius owner/Prius hater can actually appreciate. My 2 cents....
