    Thanks, 2013-Prius v. I also found this blog in Japan talking about the same noise. It's in Japanese but basically he's saying the same thing....

    I have 2013 Prius v 2 just hit 400 miles and it does groan first thing in the morning. Sometimes it groans even without pressing on a brake pedal....
