    My guess is that the laser has failed in the DVD unit.

    Carista OBD-II APP

    As long as you don't disconnect your 12V battery. Doing so will reset all of your ECU's and will revert your reverse beeping back to stock.

    Hop on eBay and search under item number 222438880862 . That's the one I picked up. It shipped quickly and included the Techstream software....

    Why not just run Techstream (dealer) software? The USB/OBD2 cable is around $16 or so and you will not only be able to turn off the reverse beep...
