install an oil catch can, my 2014 prius v gets 48 mpg useing costco gas after i installed one, before i did it i was getting 42 mpg. my miles are 150k
im looking to get my prius to last at leat 600k, gonna baby it a little even if that means i take it apart for cleaning once a year. my first car...
i would say about two tea spoons of oil, lots of carbo/dried oil build up and one can of break cleaner, i didnt notice any improvements to the MPG...
just cleaned my EGR and i gotta say it sucked as much as i thought it would to take it out, but the thing that really sucked was cleaning the dang...

right now about 150k runs perfectly, im sure if millage applys the same here as it would with a non hybrid car, im pretty happy with it besides...

alright sorry for the long time of not replying, anyway i took my prius into the shop and they determanded that my water pump is malfunctioning...
i have not thought about that, ill go get a new one today and do a little test drive, ill report what happens
