Not sure about price difference, for me its easier to do a head gasket than a full engine swap (if rods are not bent which hopefully they wont...
That's an impressive amount of miles for a 2019 what do you use it for? Why not just get the head gasket done, egr clean and install a catch can...
before you go to the effort of replacing it why not see if it returns to closed position when you hold it open while you ready the car, be careful...
