40-45mpg is a low estimate for interstate driving. I'm positive you'll do better than that. Ever heard of superhighway mode?
Its amazing you can get 15 mpg on the track, but once your out on the street again your back at 50-60mpg. Aint this car great?

You shouldn't get more oil changes than you need. The dealer was right. It's extremely wasteful.
