I had my dealer change the default to fresh air. Then after the car cools down, I can close window and change to recirulate.
As compared to my hand held GPS unit, my Pri was showing 2 mph less than actual.
Take it back to your dealer, it should be fixed under warrenty. Something is wrong and dangerous not only to you, but also anyone else around you.
