I've never seen that with my 09. It could be a problem with the DVD player, which should be under warranty. It could also be a dirty DVD disk.

That's pretty unusual for the struts to be giving out at 26K miles. Take the car to the dealer. It should be covered under warranty.
I call mine Prius ... it even came with a name tag.
You must leave the ICE on when the car is in neutral. If you power down the car will go in to park.
