No problem with the 2012 V and the 2006. Just checked with my brothers-in-law and they said it was not an issue.
You'll have to use the speed dial feature if the car is moving.

Yup, it's the 12v battery. If it's been completely drained, you probably will have to replace it. The battery is not very robust.

Possible loose wire or a dirty DVD disk. It's still under warranty, take it to the dealer. Have you ejected the disk and reinserted it?
