Swapped my trans. I had to remove the engine to do it. I would just get a damper off eBay as the one I removed is weak.

Is replacing the transmission a plug an play thing or is there programing involved? Aslo has anyone done this and can the trans just be dropped...
just thinking that top bolt is higher and it being the fill hole allows for more trans fluid. Just making sure im not short changing the trans fluid.

in the 2010 the fill hole is on the side in the gen 4 it is on top can it be that it is the same for gen 3?
good point I will need multiple floor jacks. I think once everything is disconnected and the front mount removed I think the trans can be angled...
I think it can be done without engine removal at most engine mount removal to allow for maneuvering. I wonder what ChapmanF would suggest
