They are different. Climate prep is for the cabin and battery and the battery cooler quick message is for the battery only. :)

I'm only talking HV mode. EV mode is different. I agree, in EV the ICE only comes on when full. In HV mode it comes on all the time.
Actually, using D and brakes in HV mode is better than using B. Because in HV, and decelerating in D, you are using electric and using B, the ICE...
When you charge it will show estimated miles left in battery, if you have no charge then it will show nothing. :)

I agree. In NJ, during the summer with humidity over 80% any temp over 80 is very uncomfortable. But when I was in Nevada, 100° was not a problem.
I agree, my charge ups are mostly from 0 miles left. I've seen it finish up to 40 minutes before departure time all the way to 2 minutes before.
