When you are in Charge Mode, there is an indicator for it on the display (unlike HV mode), look for it to be sure you are there...
The non conventional trend of the power curve may indicate that the 'dual motors' in EV mode is not engaged from the beginning but rather a speed...
Thanks for the explanation. I would add another scenario: The system may start the ICE while being in EV mode (i.e. without switching to HV mode)...
That is fantastic, most of us do see battery and EV range degradation in time and use (I think 2.5-3.5% per year is typical reported). What was...
I assume this measurement was taken recently, if so it means (to me) that your battery can no longer hold 4.4 kWh and the usable (23-85%) is...
207 V hybrid system plus the regular 12 V bus, cannot be same risk...plus, as Mendel said, it's illegal (at least here)
I have done it twice during the years, no reboot intended but performed, in both cases I saw no change in actual AER (driving my routine route...
Thanks Andy, 90% is quite a high score.:) I am curious about this quick switch you have installed, should be a massive one being able to handle...
I am not sure I understood this, if you mean slight decline in which you still need some power input - this is not in the category of purposely I...
Just bear in mind that doing it purposely (not because traffic conditions) is not the most efficient way to drive in HV. Just drive it would...
Without narrowing the spectrum BEV is at the other end.
OK nice as a joke (induction cook will not heat your meal on a plastic plate (and not the plate)...
You can narrow the spectrum as much as you wish until it meets your criteria. Somehow, I read Jeff's first paragraph different than you.
Point taken, my comment was clarification just in case someone...:)
I agree to the first but not to the second. Volt is not iconic representative of the other end of the spectrum.
Nice escape:)
Nothing (or almost nothing) to loose, it is not a single wire coil, "induced magnetic field amplification" is almost zero, induction from L1 is...
The photo above was not meant to hint that #14 AWG cord is no good for charging the Prime or the PiP at 120 V. Simply unwind it before use...
The guy was just charging an EV @ 12 Amps. I do not know what gauge cord he used. [ATTACH] Remember, EV charging is a long time use - each time.
One comment for those who use long extension cord: do not use it rolled-up, unwind it before use.
