I was reading through this thread and remembered something i once saw on ebay. Luckily i was able to find it again. waaaay overpriced IMO though....
I used 3M general purpose adhesive cleaner to remove the old adhesive and re-applied the emblems with new 3M tape.
I actually like the emblems. I was going to black them out but maybe a project for another day.
