Looks like the same thing that I got with my datalogger, the current drops to zero about eight times during the charge cycle then around ten...
what's wrong with it?
according to the link I posted there is only one traction battery temperature sensor for GENIII (2010 present)
And it's probably cheaper than trying to heat the cabin with electricity for such a short trip.:D
I'm all for heating the PIP cabin in the wintertime, tried a 400 watt oil filled heater situated in the back with the rear seats folded down...
It's so difficult to convince people the reality of heating the PIP (not using ICE) It's not energy efficient or possible.:cry:

I use an extension cord simular to this one: [media] I also charge my car in the rain, so far no issues. it's 12 guage

So.....it's not located on the battery, which would've been nice if it was, so we can accurately determine when that 14 degree threshold is near.
Agreed my car is always outside so the dash temperature is a little misleading because we don't really know where the thermometer is ...
The temperature on the dash is not necessarily the battery temperature, you found that out by driving and the temperature went to 12 degrees. 14...
