that's a picture of my data logger hooked up at my local ChargePoint station
[ATTACH]
maybe it's tripping it when the charging is at the last ten minutes of charging, because I have monitored the voltage and current using a data...
It can't, but a Kill A Watt meter can measure current from the 120 volt side all the way to the end of the J-1772 plug, which is at 240 volts.
could be too many GFI's. It's my understanding GFI's insert a small current from neutral to ground to monitor leakage current, when leakage...
I'm not taking credit for the picture, this was from an earlier post in this thread
there's a button on the "brick" that tests the GFI in the "Brick"
[IMG] see the large, black rectangular object with the amber light on it in the picture? that's what I refer to the "Brick"
at 240 volts, the amperage is about half (give or take resistance, capacitance, blah blah blah) that's why it takes 2 hours and 34 minutes for me...
hmmmmm....two GFI's, one in the brick and one at your outlet,............ anybody?
using a Kill A Watt meter can verify this
yup, that's still live, the relay that connects 240 volts to the 1772 is switched on or off by the charging circuit inside the PIP. there's still...
The blue plug on the EVSE is 240 volts and the outlet is 120 volts, do the math, same as the 1772 plug at chargepoint.
nothing:cautious:
another "female" crack?
I'll leave if you want
