Inspect it carefully before you get it back, and don't accept it until you are happy with the repairs. After you get it back, trade it for a new one.
Spend a hundred bucks or so and get an evaluation of the mechanics of the car from a Toyota dealer.
Plug in has no spare.... big no no in my mind.
For long distance driving, the lift back is a much better option, safer, more comfortable, and the same or better mileage.....
For more room consider the Avalon hybrid....
Yeah, it even happens on my Avalon, after 3 years the lower front valance is pretty nicked up, glad I don't have a Corvette.
I wonder if you might be abe to get a new tire thru the road hazard tire warranty that came with the car. Might be worth a read of the tire warranty.
I assume you had a bad experience with them, I had a good one, luck of the draw sometimes, I guess.
Bought mine thru Prius Chat, took the molding to a body shop (one that I used for years) and for $20 they put it on for me, well worth the $20....
Don't use B except for long downhill grades, that's all it is there for.

Battery life is a function of both time and mileage, since the warranty is 10 years 150k miles, I wouldn't bother worrying until then.
