Is there a possibility the cold temps, take a toll on 12v battery and it starts ICE to charge it? I guess ill have to try it with just foot...

my HIDs are 35w each, but they are soooo much brighter. win win. I agree with charging battery just prior to driving it in winter, to pre warm...
Just watch HSI and keep it out of the power range(red) and ICE wont start. Dan
some HID info.... XENON H.I.D. lamps are 35 watts while traditional halogen bulbs are 55 watts. Even though XENON H.I.D. lamps draw less...

yeah each time I charged the DTE went back up to 14 miles...and ticks off with EV range. I have got 1000 miles to a tank my first two...
