215 on a 17x8 might be ok since it only comes in a 45 offset. 17x9 might be a stretch. I'm guessing if lowered, you'll need to roll the fenders a bit.
What tire size you gonna run? I've found that 215 on a 45 offset wheel is the most you can run without rubbing - especially if lowered.
