Personally, I'd rather let the battery charge slower and potentially last much longer than have it charge faster and possible 'bad things happen'....

BTW - the fully loaded 2023 Corolla Hybrid XLE ( $26,600 ) is still less than the BASE model 2023 Prius LE ( $27,450 ). Ouch...
