Yes, the blue light on the dash, the far right one. I tried it today with a charge scheduled for Friday and climate prep set to off. I plugged...
A lot of info about that in this thread. Edit: changed to the right linked page. Prius Prime - official prices paid thread | PriusChat
I tried it this morning. I have a charge scheduled for 10 AM tomorrow morning with climate prep on (not traction battery cooler). After I plugged...
If it helps, my Prime is a 2017 Premium manufactured 11/2016, production #3170 and it has the rubberized coating.
Thanks for the link, but that is not for the Prime. The Prime EV and B mode works different. I believe that in EV mode the ICE will not come on...
But in EV mode you use no fuel, only battery charge.
Not sure, but I think climate prep needs to be on.
I just noticed it the other day because I never locked my doors when charging before. I charge in my garage.
When the Prime is in EV mode with charge remaining in the battery, the ICE does not run in B mode. It will do that in other modes. In EV mode it...

It should work, it works for me and others. I use this rarely. It comes in handy sometimes instead of getting in the car and turning it on to push...
No settings required. Just plug it in for a second or two (light will blink), unplug it for a second or two, then plug it in again (light will...
You're right, you don't need to have a schedule set for this to work. I'll update my post. (y)
You can set a departure time and the car will figure out when to start. It will usually finish before the departure time you set. I think there...
Once a charge is initiated, it will continue to charge until battery is full or the plug is removed. L1 charging needs about 5.5 hours to fill the...
