    This is from Cerritos AutoNation.

Prime Premium in Blizzard Pearl. I was able to get the vehicle for $100 less than the above quote. Good luck everyone! Dealers have more incentives to sell these vehicles before the End of the Year as I was told. They have 19 more vehicles coming in off the boat in mid January.

My vehicle was on the lot for 4 days only and they sold it for $1700 off MSRP after $1000 factory rebate.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you so much. Can you ship this vehicle to an Autonation dealership in Denver, Colorado?

that fed tax credit is tricky to work with. I need to make sure i owe the fed at least $4500 in order to take full advantage of the credit. grrrrrrr

Since the green sticker is now unlimited, i dont see the sale value on a 3 year old prius prime looks bright. So i dont think i can sell a 3 yeard old prime for what i owe. i might be 2000 below water.

For what my little brain can understand, if i buy and financed through toyota @ 0.9% for 60 months for a prime prime (MSRP 34,000 after tax and fee for easy calc), my monthly payment will be roughly $580. With the $4500 broken down into 36 monthly income that makes $125 dollar. So truely i would be paying $455 a month for 36 months. Note i will be selling the prime after 3 years. With the above $2000 below water sale price taken into account, i would be paying $510 monthly for 36 months.

To lease and loose the $4500 fed credit to toyota who is not incorporating the credit towards the lease program will run me around $480 a month for 36 month.

Correct me if my math or method of thinking is wrong.

I think you may just need to have paid that much in taxes through the year. Even if your tax liability is less than $4,500, you should still get back the $4,500 you paid in, no?

EDIT: I think I see your point. Let's say you've paid $4500 in taxes throughout the year and your liability at year end is $2000, you would get a refund of $2500 anyway. And you'd only be able to use $2000 of that EV credit, since there are no carryovers.
    Ignore my comment above! :)

Just wanted to alert folk that Younger Toyota in Haegerstown MD (where I bought my Prime) has some excellent pricing on the two Primes they have (1 advanced, 1 premium). In addition to the Toyota $1,000 credit, they are showing substantial mark-downs from MSRP. Now I wish I had waited. :( Not sure why the good mark-downs, but it may have to do with inventory clearing before the end of the year.

Most places in Mass have been quoting me about 800 of MSRP over the last few weeks. Fair deal to me if they had the color combo I wanted.

This was the only Prime in blue with black interior in the region and I wanted to get the Fed tax rebate for this tax year. Too bad that the Maryland sales tax rebate ended in July.

The dealer refused to budge and wouldn't even let us put down a deposit to hold the car overnight. Two were sold while we were test driving. Really wish we could have shopped around to get a discount but wanted to make sure we could purchase before year end when the $1000 credit might not renew. Not sure how much to trust this, but dealer said the $1K incentive would not come back in Jan.

I called 10 dealers in CA - only 3 had the premium and only 2 in the color we wanted. Makes negotiating hard.

Also hello! This is my first post. Thanks for the useful info!
