UPDATE: I was able to crawl back there and see the 12V battery. Couldn't get the grey plastic cover off and got frustrated. I crawled back out...
Patrick - what are chances the battery will be dead in the morning if I can't get the negative cable removed?
I tried to open up the hatch but it will not unlock no matter what I do.
