It will show up more than "accident" on the reports. When I bought my dually it showed it got in a wreck and the front left fender war replaced....
The 10th digit of the vin will always tell you the year of the car if made after 1980. You can always google "10th digit vin" to pull up a chart....
I wouldn't want it fixed if it was mine. 1k miles and it will never be as good as it was before the wreck and will always show up that it was...
