My husband is 6'7" as well and he was the one who wanted me to get the Gen3. We had a Gen2 that was a little snug for him. Long legs but skinny....
I live in Chicago too and love the solar roof and the sunroof. Love having the light inside the car and having the sunroof open on a summer night.
