When the temperature outside is about 20F is when I average about 46 MPG. So I'll be exceeding EPA estimates about 9 months out of the year. :P
I had a 39 MPG tank a few months ago. But other than that one time, I've never gone below 50.

I was ridiculed for making a similar statement several months ago.
When it's cold outside the bladder in the tank apparently gets very restrictive.
I've actually never been able to pump more than about 8 gallons of gasoline at one time, even when the fuel gauge shows only one bar remaining.
