i know this is an old topic but i am having the same issues with my prius.nobody can find any problems with the car yet it keeps losing coolant...

thanx for all the replies.it was the combination meter indeed, got one off ebay with 16,000 miles on it for $170 shipped and put it in.solved...
we had the same problem and ended up changing the combination meter.which is the instrument cluster up on the dashboard.

my company has 2 2006 priuses,one at 155,xxx the other 182,xxx. just did the oil changes for engine.they both run just fine.
i have a 2006 prius ,it has 182,xxx on the clock.engine running like a champ.dont worry.do the maintanence on time.i dont see that engine going...
