    Correct, it indirectly uses the ICE, however the electric AC compressor is not putting a strain on the ICE like a normal belt driven AC compressor...

    any thots on using neutral to coast ?

    I'm confused: Why would you coast in neutral and not reep the benefits of charging the battery pack while coasting in drive?
