    Thanks for the suggestions, what I've done so far is push it in as far as we can get it, then epoxy it - quickset didn't hold long - flew off...

    Thanks, but the whole thing came out - I can unscrew the antenna, but that's also the part that came out of the base - it's just a little metal...
