I can't help but to respond to your suggestion that all Catalytic Converters are pretty-much the same. I do agree OE parts are expensive, but...
The original battery is expensive because it is far superior to a conventional battery. It is an AGM (absorbed glass mat) type sealed battery....
Patrick is right on the money with the ideas like spark plugs, throttle body and new 12v battery. :thumb: My car runs 100% better after new plugs...
