    I would also ask your dealer about "Goodwill Warranty".

    Overheating or 12 volt battery?

    I didn't wait the 8 hours. Since the battery is under warranty, I know they would have charged it and waited to see if it would hold the charge....

    How would I check for a loose connection? When I reinstall the battery, just make sure everything is tight?

    Not a Toyota battery. It is under warranty until August, 2017.

    Bought the 12 volt August, 2014. And had it checked today. Oil was just changed October 10th. Drove 1000 miles since.

    I have a 2007 with 130,000 miles. Hybrid battery replaced at 109,000. Last oil change at 129,000 replaced transaxle fluid and rear brakes...
