Correct, I need to open that black tab to access a 12v current to power up the relay for the HID.

I can't get the positive fuse case to open to install my hid relay. Can anyone show me which tabs to pull? Here is the picture with an arrow...
What is "tapping" a wire? Where would I do that and do I need to get any other misc accessories to do it.
Just installed the unit yesterday so if anyone has any questions let me know. Brokerage fees was the lowest I've seen on this forum at $33.75....
