Great news from toyota. They're covering the parts. That leaves me with a $500 bill rather than $2300. The fact is I shouldn't have any repair...
Service manager is going to "talk" with district rep to see if some "assistance" can be had. That would take some of the sting away.

Buy the best warranty you can because they are helllllllla expensive to fix.

Update: Happened again today. High pitched warning "Brake" warning "ABS" warning Brakes feel like they're dragging Tire chirps at hard brake low...
Hasn't happened since. Is scary, lame, exciting. Not familiar with the sound of the pump. I'll listen today.
