I would suppose that disabling the egr on a gen 3 would cause higher cylinder pressure and possibly cause a head gasket failure at some point...so...
I'm glad I saw this thread...finally I saw a thread mentioning how to screw the egr valve rotor down while putting the cap back on..., recently...
