Thank you for all your help. I got this done at a shop in Everett, WA...yes, they came from the out to the fuse box behind the knee pad to access...
I wish I could...I didn't do the install, but I am told by Toyota, that it is done in the door panel, and through the ecu.
That's my plan...a little bummed that it's fall/winter and it gets dark so I will be entering a dark car.
Yes, the dome light stays on regardless of the switch position. :-/
I assume it's the main ecu....or the ecu that the turn signals, dome light, and the radio are plugged into.

I have the same...but for some reason(I think the installer cut a corner) it rattles.

Mine don't scrape. I haven't had 5 people in my car going over a speed bump...maybe then it would scrape. :-D
