P0571 code, blinking cruise control light, changed out brake lamp switch fixed the issue. Just did mine this morning
my 2009 prius had p1116 code along with p1121, changed coolant water valve and fixed both codes. coolant control valve is about $70 and 2 gallons...
Also keep in mind, check engine light relates to emission and could be costly both time and $ to sort it out
