    Thanks for the feedback - I suppose I'll look for a thinner cable as well; I'd rather not hack up my cupholders etc.. if not absolutely necessary....

    While I figure out what iPod integration approach I want to pursue in the future, in the meantime I'm enjoying the use of the aux input on my 2007...
