    It was not the battery. I replaced the shift control actuator and the problem is fixed.

    Battery, ecu, and actuator tested fine. "Itermittent issue" Toyota could not find any issue. Their advice was to drive until the light stays on.

    as stated before....batteries were fully charge, reinstalled, and the error came back. it isnt the battery. i am thinking it is the shift control...

    Oreillys. It the optima yellow top. Ill charge it and see if that changes anything.
