No, I don't think she knows how to set it in EV mode and she said she braked when turning to make sound. But it is a good guess, sound is about right.
Yes, checked oil but just pulled stick up and it was oil at right level, didn't clean and dip again. Will check again if it can make that happen....
My wife had prius (2007) today, and when she braked and turned right it started to beep, just like putting revers in. It happened 3 times for her....
