    If I'm already spending $31k, I would gladly spend a bit more for a moon roof, even if that sacrificed a few mpg.

    I'm going to echo the thoughts of others as well. A Prius V w/ the AT package and a moon roof (doesn't have to be solar panels) is very appealing.

    Your sentence is a bit confusing to me. Tax credits and tax deductions are two different things. With a tax credit, you actually get that money...
