My 2001 is doing the same thing with a full tank of gas
I usually get around 36-37 mpg all winter about the only thing I don’t like about the car is u can’t idle it once warm and it dose not heat very...
From what I read on their it should have everything needed to swap it out don’t need new cables for it
It is original 12 volt battery I know the guy that had it before me and never changed it
It comes with new terminals and cables I hope it dose

Ya I just ordered a new battery but had stuff to do today and needed my car
Original 12v I put it on the charger this morning and am driving now with it
Lived here 29 years cars usually don’t have strobe lights for head lights and tail lights
For all your information it was the 12 volt battery died
The cars got 270000 original batteries and ran like a champ before this
It was -30 air temp sorry
Just thought of something else the heater fan quits blowing when the lights start flashing
I have the problem driving around town it dose not blow heat but if I drive for about 40 miles it will cook u out of the car it gets so hot any...
also if u shift back to park it stays in neutral and rolls it will not shift to drive or reverse and the screen on the dash will not turn on...
