The manual states the red proximity line is 1.5 ft measured from bumper. When I measure the new car it was 1.5 ft. Now, 10 mo later, it is 4". Now...

Yes, if it was originally sold in CA when new, 10 years or 150k mi. And, I think some other states with CARB type of laws.

Yes, but I think only if the battery will not work properly after a full recharge or cannot take a charge; totally broken. Also, who pays for them...
Sure sounds like the warranty work was deficient in getting the air bubbles out and not allowing proper cooling.
Even NASA messed up the two systems and it was a costly mistake. :D
