I concur. The Honda scissor jacks I've used in past have a connector like this:

The bent-plate double eyelet design is MUCH more stable when turning, compared to Toyota cast-iron single eyelet design, like this:

Consider a quality floor-style bicycle pump. They work, nothing to plug in, and really doesn't take that long. This is one I purchased about 18 months back, has proven very dependable. I use it regularly for topping up tires:

America's Tire, go there next time for the tires without road hazard. That $46 was way too much.

They can sell you road hazard on your new car tires. (Sorry I forgot about that on my last post. In our '18 Clarity I brought it in for rotation at 7250 mi and they offered it to me)...

It has been interesting when Toyota corporate refuses to discuss citing ‘they are not in the business of tires’ and ‘tires are not a warranted item etc etc - refuse to discuss the repair kit.

Anyone know how to properly remove the goop jar from the compressor itself? Online references all stop after the tire has been temporarily repaired, nothing on disassembling the kit.

I didn't waste time disassembling it. I put the whole thing, still in the original plastic wrap, in a drawer in the garage and replaced it with a plug kit and a 12V compressor. I've used the compressor several times, usually on other people's cars.

Yeah, basically shun it. Which speaks volumes.

You can pull the goop jar out of the compressor by pulling straight out. It might take a little force since there is some residual pressure, but will come out. Like I said, since all the goop got dumped you can just plug the empty jar back in and use as regular compressor as the connection to the tire is part of the bottle. I think it will take a little longer to pump the tire as it has to fill the bottle before it goes to the tire (think of the bottle as reservoir for the air LOL)
