Folks are generally not as hearty as previous generations. There are photos online of inauguration day snow in bygone days. Not that all hearty folks have been buried. Neighbor lady a couple houses down can shovel snow jfaster than me even though we're both retired. 70 & 80 & 90-year-olds at church this morning ... & it will be warmed up to 9°f when we get out at 10:00 a.m. but we're not all standing outside i suppose. But we have better clothing now days, chemical hand warmers, heated gloves, vests, socks Etc.
