    Thanks for posting that Evan. I agree with what he says about the utility of the Volt concept. I hope they actually build the thing. And I hope they offer the option of greater EV range. And I hope they don't lease the batteries and then call them back and leave buyers stuck with a car that won't go.

    You mean the part where he states that all cars would have to be hybrids (or mayby even better ... pure ev?), in order to meet those 'crazy' CARB standards?

    Or the prart where he states that such a 'crazy' requirement (higher mpgs) would ad thousands to a car's cost?
    de ja vu ... same rant they made against:
    seatbelts
    smog equipment
    padded dash
    air bags
    crumple zones
    bumpers that withstand a 4mph impact
    etc etc
