This car just gets better and better. I took a quick trip 500 miles each way Friday and Saturday. Drove 75mph most of the way there and got 46mpg but the way back was at 60mph. I was on cruise all the way and just marveled at how the mileage climbed. I had two personal milestones on this trip, no hyper-miles here, just great mileage. 1) 53mpg over 500 miles all on relatively flat land (highway 5 in CA) on cruise control @ 60mph, only used 8.17 gallons of Shell. 2) The first time I've had over 60mpg for an extended period of time. This was not a full tank but I snapped the photo just before a long steep climb that was going to kill the mileage. (my inserted photos are not showing up!)
