Yokohama thinks it does.....The SNR compound is reportedly more flexible, which reduces rolling resistance......Yokohama’s SNR compound is also used in the dB Super E-Spec, a consumer tire that launches this summer, and sized to fit the Toyota Prius, Honda Insight, and other ‘green’ vehicles on the market.
I hope the other tire companies develop tires like this, especially those gas guzzler trucks and SUV's that could use some help.
