Replaced the 12 volt battery in our 2007 prius. Having trouble with the car not wanting to shut off . Battery cable has to be discontinued for the car to shut off. The dash is not working either. Anyone ever had to deal with this before? Any Ideas on what could be wrong?

Your combo meter has been misbehaving for a long time because it takes a long time to get to the point of having to pull the plug on it to shut the car off.
There s a youtube about how to replace it have to take the dash board apart.

    Its called:

prius combo meter on youtube. Its the first video that pops up.

Haven't bought one in a few years but mine was $100 for a rebuilt one and I installed it myself.
