    Good morning all,

I got out to my '19 awd-e Prius this morning to find a big crack in the windshield. I took a magnifying glass to it, and can't see an impact mark.

I know there's a lawsuit in the US about Priuses cracking their windshields, but nothing in Canada yet.

Any other 4th-gen owners have this happen?

Sorry to hears about this. Could you provide a photo, or at least a description of the crack?

Was there an extreme temp change when the crack occurred?

I'll take a picture at lunch. It was sitting outside in 50-60°F weather.

Yeah, the windshield problem is probably, literally, the biggest problem this generation of the Prius has. When it spontaneously cracks like that with no sign of chipping its frustrating to not know why it happened.

Road debris getting kicked up is easier to avoid. Just don't follow too closely to the car in front of you.

too many of us experienced that, started from bottom pasanger side near wipers and creeping its way all the way to driversside, i just repalced mine. cost me $160. base model, no sensors on it.
