Window Tint for Summer Heat

    I am thinking of windows tint on my G3 for summer heat. Does anyone know which brand and type is good for G3 to keep the heat out and to protect HV Battery? I am in Cypress, Texas USA, any recommend shop would be nice, thanks.

    Find a tint shop that has good reviews and good product warranty

    i've had Llumar Metallic tint on the prius and Ceramic version on my Infiniti. Both blocked a lot of heat. Ceramic does a better job but more $$. Stay away from the cheap dyed version. They fade over time.

    Hard part is to find a good shop. I used Shade Shop in Austin and they used template for all their pieces. Never had issue w/ it peeling off or bubbling so far since installed in early 2012.

    Hyper Optik is what I put on the wife’s RX450h ;).

    Works well(y).
